Terms and Condition

This offer applies to all beep™ cards that are enrolled in the beep™ Rewards Program in the beep™ Mobile App during the promo period.

Only cards registered in the beep™ app may enroll for the beep™ Rewards Program.

1. This offer is valid from 12 Jan 2026 to 11 Jul 2026. All beep™ card usage transactions related to this promo and made within this period are qualified to avail of the offer.

2. A customer can enroll up to five (5) beep cards for the Promotion. Only registered cards in the beep™ mobile app can enroll for the Promotion. A prompt will appear in the app enabling the user to enroll his/her card. Enrollment to the program also means the user agrees to the Terms and Conditions of the said program.

3.1. One (1) point will be awarded for every 1 Peso paid using beep™ card.

3.2. Cardholders can start earning points from transactions made after successfully enrolling their cards in the beep™ rewards program. Earned points is cumulative only per card and cannot be used or add to other reward points accumulated by other enrolled cards.

3.3. Cardholders can collect points on a cumulative basis within the promo period. Earned points that were not redeemed 180 days after the end of the promo will be forfeited.

3.4. Points cannot be transferred from one enrolled card to another. The points earned for a particular card can only be redeemed as load for that card (ex. beep™ card with CAN 6378 0555 1234 5678 earned 100,000 points, the Php500 load can only be transferred to beep Card with CAN 6378 0555 1234 5678 and not another beep™ card).

3.5. There is no limit to the number of points that can be earned per card.

4.1. Points earned can be redeemed and converted to beep™ load, QR ticket, and points that can be used for retail payments, and to claim special promotions. (Note: The redeemed QR Tickets are issued for use on vehicles specific operators, on specific routes and between specific stops as indicated by the customer during ticket redemption.)

4.2. A minimum of 200 points is required to redeem or convert point  to beepTM load and QR Ticket.

4.3 Redemption of beep load can only be done in multiples of 200 points. For every 200 points, the customer can redeem PHP1 amount of beep load. For example, 200 points can be redeemed for PHP1 load, 400 points can be redeemed for PHP2 load and so forth. On the other hand, 900 points cannot be redeemed in full and 1,900 points can only be redeemed for PHP9 with 100 points left in the points balance after redemption.

5.1. Go to the Rewards page in the beep™ mobile app by tapping on the medal icon located at the bottom panel of the app home page.

5.2. When you get to the Rewards Page, tap the card that you wish to redeem points for.

5.3. When you get to the card page, tap on the “via beep Load” in the panel marked “Redeem your beep™ points!”

5.4. Select the amount of points you wish to convert to beep™ load. Toggle between 200 to 2,000. Then tap the I then be prompted to confirm your redemption transaction before proceeding.

5.5. You now have a pending load in the amount you chose. Since the beep™ card operates an offline payment network the load will only be transferred to your card upon tapping your chosen card in a beep™ e-load station or by directly tapping your card at the back of an NFC-enabled phone. Locations of the beep e-load station can be found in https://www.beep.com.ph

5.6. In the Points History, a Pending Load will be shown in grey. When claimed, it will turn to red to signify that it is a redemption. Expired pending load will be in in red (Under the entry “Points Redemption – Expired”) Points will be deducted from the total upon processing a redemption request and not upon claiming a pending load.

5.7. Points claimed as pending load cannot be converted to cash.

5.8. Redeemed points may no longer be changed, revoked or cancelled.

5.9. A cardholder may have multiple pending loads for a single card. These will be queued when claiming load from a beep e-load station.

5.10. A Pending Load will be valid for 180 calendar days. If a pending load is not claimed within this period, it will expire.

5.11. Points from a promo are valid for redemption until 60 days after the promo period, or until July 5, 2025.

6.1. Redemption of beep™ QR Ticket can be done in multiple of 200 points. For tickets with a value of less than PHP1, 200 points are required. See table below for breakdown of reward points conversion to QR ticket.

Procedure for converting points to beep™ QR Ticket are as follows: 

6.2. Go to the Rewards page in the beep mobile app to view all the cards enrolled for beep™ rewards. 

6.3. When you get to the Rewards Page, select the card that you wish to redeem points for. 

6.4. When you get to the card page, tap on “via QR Ticket” in the panel marked “Redeem your beep™ points” 

6.5. Select route for participating Operator with QR acceptance and enter your origin and destination. 

6.6. You will then be prompted to confirm your redemption transaction with the details of the QR ticket to be generated before proceeding. 

6.7. After successful confirmation and having enough points, a QR ticket will be generated. QR ticket will show a summary of information that the user has confirmed. QR tickets can now be presented on any QR Validator terminals located at the participating Transport Operators. 

6.8. QR tickets that were generated can be viewed/found in the QR tickets page. Status of the QR tickets is displayed (active, used, or expired). 

6.9. The QR Ticket generated will only be used and be accepted on the selected Operator, route and the origin station. 

6.10. One QR Ticket can be redeemed in one transaction. 

6.11. QR Ticket will expire in twenty-four (24) hours from the date and time of successful QR Ticket redemption. 

6.12. There are no limits to the number of QR tickets that can be redeemed, as long as you have enough reward points earned. 

6.13. QR Ticket that was not used or has expired are non-refundable.

7. Transactions in buses, PUVs, railway system, retail partners, and other cashless implementations of beep shall be qualified for the promo.

8. This promotion is available nationwide.

9. beep™ reserves the right to reverse the Points or load credited to the cardholder if the transaction is cancelled at a later date, or found to be invalid or fraudulent, or if there was an error in the crediting of the usage transaction or points.

10. In case of dispute, in respect of but not limited to the card owner’s eligibility, coverage of dates, transaction qualification, fulfillment, etc., beep™ ‘s decision shall prevail. All questions or disputes regarding the card owner’s eligibility for the promotion shall be resolved by beep with the concurrence of DTI.

MY BEEP™ STORY CONTEST MECHANICS

Background

In celebration of ten years since the launch of beep™ in 2015 coinciding with obtaining Full System Acceptance (FSA) for the Rail AFCS Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Project, AF Payments Inc. (AFPI), the issuer of beep™ cards, is launching a contest to encourage beep™ cardholders to share their unique stories on how beep™ has affected their lives.

Contest Mechanics:

    1. Promo period is from 01 August 2025 to 30 November 2025, with the Grand Finals set on 05 December 2025.
    2. Details on coverage, deadline of submission, judging schedule and announcement of winners are as follows: 
    3. The contest is open to the public, provided that participants must: 
      • own and regularly use a beep™ Stored Value card of any type, including standard (anonymous cards), Concessionary Cards, limited edition or collectible cards, company-issued or co-branded cards; 
      • be willing to share their beep™-inspired stores to the general public, including but not limited to posting in AFPI’s website and social media channels; and
      • allow AFPI to use the submitted story or entry for its marketing, promotional and/or other purpose(s) that it may deem appropriate.

    4. For electronic contest registration, customer must fill-up the online registration form in beep™ website: https://www.beep.com.ph/mybeepstory/ and follow the uploading instructions and guidelines indicated therein together with their full name, address, contact number, e-mail address and birth date (for notification and verification purposes). Contestants will receive an acknowledgement e-mail upon successful uploading of their respective entries.

    5. Criteria for Judging is as follows:
      Content Relevance : 50%
      Creative Execution : 50%

      1) Content Relevance – each entry will be evaluated whether it has adequately and appropriately responded to the question, “How has beep™ affected your life?” by narrating or visually depicting an actual experience involving the use of the beep™ card, including but not limited to the use of the beep™ card for commuting and/or other purposes and the tangible and/or intangible benefits derived from such an experience. 

      2) Creative Execution – depending on the nature of the submission, each entry will be evaluated on the judicious use of creative modes of expression, including but not limited to: written text or narrative, visual/graphic design tools, or video footage (raw or otherwise edited for visual aesthetics), and/or other creative flourishes and ultimately the overall impact and appeal of the submitted entry.   

    6. The panel of judges consist of the following AF Payments Inc. Senior executives and Managers:
      Ms. Chona Christine Basilio – Chief Finance Office, AFPI
      Ms. Abigail Rosal – Group Head for Human Resources
      Mr. Eduardo Niala, Jr. – Head of Rail Concession and Special Projects
      Mr. Jojo Carpio – President and CEO*

    7. Any participant can send as many entries as they can for as long as each story has a unique narrative. Contestants can send as many entries or stories as they can for the duration of the contest, provided that each submitted story or entry is unique from the other submissions. Winning entries from previous months can no longer be re-submitted.

    8. The winning entry of the month will be announced on the first week of the succeeding month and will automatically be eligible for the Grand Finals. The winner in the Grand Finals will be selected and announced on 05 December 2025. The selection and announcement of winners will be made in the presence of a DTI representative at AFPI’s headquarters at 4/F MSE Building, Makati City in the afternoon within the first week of the succeeding month (for the monthly winners) and on or by the afternoon of 05 December 2025 (for the Grand Finals winner).

    9. The winning entry for each month will receive a tax-free cash prize of Five Thousand Pesos (PHP 5,000.00) and a limited-edition beep™ card. (Note: Non-cash prizes cannot be converted into their cash equivalent but transferable.)

    10. The winner of the Grand Finals will receive a tax-free cash prize of Ten Thousand Pesos (PHP 10,000.00), a limited-edition beep™ card and a gift bag. (Note: Non-cash prizes cannot be converted into their cash equivalent but transferable.)

    11. Winners will be notified by AFPI via registered mail, e-mail and SMS. Prizes are tax-free, i.e., any applicable taxes will be borne by AFPI.

    12. Prizes should be claimed within 60 days from receipt of registered notice or prize will be forfeited in favor of AFPI with prior approval of DTI.

    13. Prizes can be claimed at AFPI headquarters at 4/F MSE Building, Ayala Avenue, Makati City between 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. When claiming, a valid government-issued ID must be presented by the winner.

    14. If the winner prefers to send a representative to claim his/her prize, a duly signed authorization letter and a copy of the IDs of the winner and representative must be presented to AFPI.

    15. Winners’ names will be posted in beep™ Facebook page and beep™ website.

    16. All employees of AFPI, including their immediate family or relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from participating in this contest.

    17. Contestants can submit either a Video Material or Story Narrative, Static Artwork, Poster or Publicity Material, conforming to the following guidelines and specifications:

        • File size must not exceed a total of 10MB.
        • Each entry must be in any of the following acceptable, final formats: .jpeg, .pdf, or .png
        •  Simple text-based narrative (with no visual elements) will be accepted provided they are submitted in any of the following formats cited in 5.1.c.

          17. 2 Video Material
        • Total run time for each video entry should not exceed thirty (30) seconds
        • Due to storage constraints, maximum file size for each video entry should not exceed 300MB

    18. At their discretion and/or preference, contestants can incorporate any photo, audio/video material, logos, graphic elements and/or other material to enhance their submissions provided that such images, photos, etc. do not violate any provisions of the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines (otherwise known as Republic Act 8293) nor infringe upon any other person or entity’s copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights (“IP Laws”). AFPI shall not be held liable for any such violations and/or infringements of the IP Laws, and the contestant shall solely be liable therefor.

    19. Contestants may use the beep™ logo in the submissions for such purpose only, and such use must be according to the beep™ brand guidelines, as published in the beep™ website: https://www.beep.com.ph/beep-logo-and-guidelines/

    20. By submitting their entries containing personal and other information, contestants agree that such personal information will be processed in compliance with the relevant and applicable provisions of the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (otherwise known as Republic Act 10173). Contestants also consent to the sharing of their personal information (limited to their name and age) to the general public, including posting in AFPI’s website and social media channels for AFPI’s marketing and promotional activities.

    21. Entries / Stories must be in response to the question, “HOW HAS BEEP™ AFFECTED YOUR LIFE?” (PAANO NAAPEKTUHAN NG BEEP™ ANG BUHAY MO?)

    22. Entries can be in English, Filipino, “Taglish”, or any Philippine language or dialect (provided there is an equivalent English, Filipino or Taglish translation of the narrative, publicity material or artwork entries or subtitles for video entries). AFPI reserves the right to edit, amend or alter, in whole or in part, the submitted entries for brevity and conciseness and for promotional and/or other purposes it may deem appropriate.

    23. Entries must be based on true-to-life experience(s) (as attested by the entry sender) and must not be a work of fiction or a product of one’s imagination. However, names of personalities or characters involved may be changed, in the interest of privacy and confidentiality.  By submitting an entry or entries, each contestant warrants that the entry or entries is/are his/her original work and has not been published in any publication within or outside the Philippines. Failure to comply, including the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to draft an entry, will merit disqualification and/or revocation of any prize given at the sole discretion of AFPI.

    24. By submitting an entry or entries, the contestant(s) agree to assign the exclusive copyright over such entry or entries to AFPI. Winning entries may be published in AFPI’s website and social media channels as well as other publications of AFPI at the sole discretion of AFPI.

  15. Monthly winners will receive a tax-free cash prize of Five Thousand Pesos (PHP 5,000.00) and a limited-edition beep™ card.
  16. The Grand Finals winner will receive a tax-free cash prize of Ten Thousand Pesos (PHP 10,000.00), a limited-edition beep™ card, and a gift bag.
  17. By submitting an entry or entries, the contestant(s) assign exclusive copyright to AFPI. Winning entries may be published in AFPI’s media and other publications at its discretion.
  18. Winners will be notified by e-mail and SMS and must claim their prize in person within 60 calendar days at AFPI headquarters, 4/F MSE Building, Ayala Avenue, Makati City (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.). Valid ID is required. A representative must present a signed authorization letter and IDs of both parties if claiming on behalf of the winner.
  19. All employees of AFPI, including their immediate family or relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from participating in this contest.

STEP 1

MAGDALA NG ORIGINAL AT XEROX NG VALID ID

Para sa Senior Citizens, maaaring ipakita ang:

· OSCA ID na inisyu ng inyong lungsod o munisipyo;

· Philippine Passport;

· Anumang dokumento na nagpapatunay na kayo ay mamamayan ng Republika ng Pilipinas at nasa 60 years old ang inyong edad.

Para sa Persons with Disabilities (PWDs):

· PWD ID na inisyu ng inyong lungsod o munisipyo.

STEP 2

Mag-fill up ng Concessionary Card Application Form

Maaaring makakuha ng Application Form sa Passenger Assistance Office (PAO) sa kahit anong LRT-1, LRT-2 or MRT-3 Station.

STEP 3

Ipasa ang nasagutan na form, original at photocopy ng inyong valid ID sa teller

Matapos ma-check ng tellerang mga requirements, magbayad ng P30 para sa ticket fee. Huwag kalimutang kunin ang inyong original ID mula sa teller.

STEP 4

Bumalik sa LRT-1, LRT-2 or MRT-3 Station sa itinakdang araw.

Dala ang claim stub na ibinigay sa inyo, bumalik sa station kung saan ipinasa ang application sa itinakdang petsa para kunin ang Concessionary Card.

STEP 5

Gamitin ang Concessionary Card

Pagkakuha ng Concessionary Card, maaari na itong lagyan ng load (P12 minimum) upang

magamit. Ang Concessionary Card ay may Validity Period na dalawang (2) taon.

Student Discounted beep™ card

Application for student discounted beep™ card is not available as of the moment. Students discounted card will not be applicable for LRT-1, LRT-2 and MRT-3 lines yet because only the transportations under LTFRB are mandated to give fare discounts for students.
