As everyone’s wanderlust reaches new heights accompanied by the easing of travel restrictions, the biggest and longest-running travel fair in the country returns with a bang. Organized by PHILTOA, the Department of Tourism, and the Tourism Promotions Board, the 33rd Philippine Travel Mart held at the SMX Convention Center continues its mission of bringing travel lovers exciting deals offered by top travel agencies and tour operators.
beep™ was privileged to participate in the momentous event through the generous invitation of Positive Exposure Productions, Inc. (PEP) which also founded the GUEST App, a mobile application that aims to digitize Philippine tourism’s day-to-day operations by unifying products, services, market, and the governing bodies in one platform.
The event held from September 30 to October 2, allowed beep™’ to share its advocacy to help revitalize the Philippine economy by providing a cashless and safe payment system in public transport through its Automated Fare Collection System (AFCS), beep™ cards and beep™ QR. beep™ reaffirmed its support for government-initiated programs to provide passengers with a bearable, efficient, eco-system linked, and a productive commuting experience.
The 3-day affair enabled beep™ to showcase its services to potential partners to further grow its ecosystem and transportation network all over the Philippines. beep™’s top priorities of providing safety and convenience in traveling were also highlighted— Imagine using only one card for all your travel needs whether to go to your office or to your favorite vacation spot!
With the help of its current and future partners, beep™ is definitely a step closer to its goal of providing a micropayment system that caters to the needs of Filipino commuters.
