AF Payments, Inc. (AFPI) recently attended the launch of the Supreme Court of the Philippines (SC) 125th Anniversary Commemorative Co-Branded beep™ Card and SC Gift Shop on June 4, 2026, at the SC Main Building in Manila.

In delivering her welcoming remarks, SC Spokesperson Atty. Camille Sue Mae L. Ting presented the design of the beep™ Card and Single Journey Tickets (SJTs), which featured a digital render of the Supreme Court Complex at Padre Faura, created by Mr. Rancho Arcilla of the Office of the Spokesperson.

In addition to bringing the Courts’s milestone closer to the public, Atty. Ting states, “These items will help tell a story of the Court’s journey over the past 125 years and inspire a greater appreciation for the Judiciary’s role in our society.”

Speaking on behalf of AFPI President and CEO Remigio “Jojo” G. Carpio, Consultant to the President and CEO Mr. Eduardo “Edu” M. Niala, Jr. extended his appreciation and gratitude to the SC for the partnership. He remarked that the collaboration reflected SC and AFPI’s shared mission of providing Filipinos with a convenient, affordable, and reliable way to commute, “especially at a time when every hard-earned peso matters.”
“It is fitting that we honor the traditions, legacy, and history of this esteemed institution, while embracing the innovations that prepare it for the future — all in the service of the Filipino people.”

SC Deputy Clerk of Court and Chief Administrative Officer Atty. Maria Carina A. Matummu-Cunanan also delivered a message on behalf of the SC, highlighting the SC’s efforts to enhance public trust through innovation and meaningful engagement.
“The launch of the Supreme Court 125th Anniversary beep™ card commemorates a creative and forward-looking endeavor. These cards, while practical in function, carry with them a deeper significance as they circulate among commuters and members of the public. They serve as a daily reminder of the presence of the Judiciary in the daily life of every Filipino — quietly steadfast, accessible, and ever commited to justice.”

Following this, the official turnover photo opportunity of the beep™ card and SJTs was taken. Chief Justice Alexander G. Gesmundo (sixth from the right) received the commemorative cards from Mr. Edu Niala, Jr. (sixth from the left).
With them are (from left) AFPI officials Marvin Ibañez, Brent R. Pablo, and Carl Louie A.Galera; Ar. Bryan Anacion of the Department of Transportation; Light Rail Transit Authority Administrator Atty. Hernando T. Cabrera; and SC Associate Justices Amy C. Lazaro-Javier, Henri Jean Paul B. Inting, Jose Midas P. Marquez, Maria Filomena D. Singh, and Raul B. Villanueva.
The commemorative Single Journey Tickets (SJTs) will be available to the public at LRT-1, LRT-2, and MRT-3 stations starting this month.
