We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly analytical Electrical Design & Estimation Engineer to join our growing team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate electrical designs, cost-efficient project estimates, and reliable technical execution across projects. Core Technical Competencies
- Strong knowledge of electrical load calculations, including connected vs demand load and application of demand/diversity factors
- Ability to size feeders, branch circuits, and select appropriate protective devices (MCB/MCCB)
- Experience in BOQ preparation and structured documentation of quantities
- Ability to perform accurate quantity take-offs from technical drawings
- Solid understanding of cost estimation for materials and labor
- Applies validation and checking methods to ensure estimate accuracy
- Handles estimation challenges such as design gaps and revisions
- Knowledge of conduit and cable sizing, including fill percentage and cable count
- Familiarity with PEC and IEC standards and their application
- Understanding of installation methods (exposed, concealed, cable tray)
- Knowledge of voltage drop and basic mitigation approaches
- Ability to plan cable routing in congested areas
- Ability to design electrical systems based on floor plans and layouts
- Identifies and resolves discrepancies between site conditions and drawings
- Applies value engineering and cost optimization techniques
- Demonstrates structured troubleshooting in design and implementation issues

Education and Work Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications (ECE), or Computer Engineering. Registered PRC license (e.g., REE, RECE) is preferred.
- 2 to 5 years of progressive experience in technical engineering, with at least 2 years in a project lead or senior capacity.
- Proven experience in AFCS, Railway Systems, or large-scale Public Infrastructure.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and the MS Office Suite.
- Excellent command of English for drafting formal technical reports and coordinating with external stakeholders.
