The role of the Security, Data Privacy & Compliance Manager takes the functions as Security Manager who manages both logical and physical security, as Data Protection Officer who manages on ensuring the privacy compliance relative to Data Privacy Act of 2012, and as a Compliance Manager who will be accountable for building a strong audit, a compliance risk culture where compliance-related reporting, monitoring and other statutory responsibilities are prioritized, ensuring an environment of compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, including new legal and regulatory developments company-wide.
For the Security Manager, the role manages AFPI’s information security, both Logical and Physical security, with primary focus on the balance protection of the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information and maintaining the efficient security policies and procedures implementation. This includes cybersecurity and more.
For the Data Protection Officer, the role manages AFPI’s compliance as prescribed by the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and act as primary contact person to National Privacy Commission. The role oversees compliance on the minimum requirement set forth by the National Privacy Commission’s Implementing Rules and Regulation.
For the Compliance Manager, the role is responsible in overseeing the full compliance of AF Payments and its employees with the rules and regulations of regulatory agencies. This includes coordination with the top management (BLT) to identify potential risks, implementing policies and procedures to uphold laws and regulations and monitoring the company’s adherence to those policies and procedures on compliance-related reporting, monitoring and other statutory responsibilities.

Education and Work Background
- A bachelor’s degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or/and equivalent
- Has minimum of five (5) working year experience in Information Security and Data Privacy
- Has Internationally recognized certification in Information Security and Privacy, i.e. ITIL, CIPM, CISSP and equivalent.
- Has minimum of five (5) working experience as a Compliance Officer / Compliance Manager or similar position
- Has knowledge of legal requirements and controls (e.g. Anti-Money Laundering, or AML, Data Privacy)
- Professional certification (e.g. Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP, CISO, CSIM)) is an advantage
